Twenty eight year old Joel Yochum, who was clocked speeding at 122 miles per hour last week along a rural Dodge County Highway, has had his bail bond set at $80,000 cash according to Dodge County law authorities. On Wednesday morning, a Dodge County Sheriff Deputy observed a 1991 Ferrari traveling on Highway O in the town of ASH-I-PUN at speeds of over 120 mph. Following a traffic stop, Yochum was arrested on his fourth offense OWI. Yochum told officers that the Ferrari belonged to his grandfather, which he wasn’t supposed to be driving. He has a preliminary hearing set for Thursday. In another case update from Dodge County, during the course of Operation Dodge Ball where County Sheriff’s detectives were doing follow up on the sex offender registry compliance checks, they discovered a marijuana growing operation in the Town of Shields. They could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence and obtained a search warrant. During the search they found an indoor grow-operation, marijuana plants growing outdoors, processed marijuana, money and illegal pills. The evidence was seized and a 52-year old man and 55-year-old woman were taken into custody. Criminal charges were still pending as of Friday.
