Dodge County Sheriff Pat Ninmann says a road rage incident Saturday night could have ended very badly after a 76-year-old Clyman man confronted a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman with a gun. The complaint was reported just before 9 p.m. in the Watertown area and carried over into the Village of Clyman. The road rage complaint involved tailgating, passing, and speeding. The 76 year old man allegedly confronted the woman in Clyman where threats and a brief physical confrontation occurred. Upon questioning and an initial investigation, the 76 year old man was eventually arrested for his first offense OWI, along with additional criminal charges of Going Armed While Intoxicated, and Disorderly Conduct with a firearm enhancer. No charges or citations are being requested on the woman. Sheriff Ninmann says thankfully no one was injured during the incident.This incident could have very easily ended badly. Drivers who have a complaint about the actions of another driver should contact law enforcement so that it can be handled in the appropriate manner.
