7 / 23 West Bend police Handle Two Minor Ilegal Incidents

The first day and half of this week has seen West Bend Police issue two minor criminal citations. Lieutenant Michael Hartwell informed WBKV News that on Monday afternoon just before one pm, a 20 year old Kewaskum man , was stopped by loss prevention agents at the Kohl's store on South Main after concealing a watch in the stroller he was pushing.  The Police Department was notified and when officers arrived  they cited the man for Retail Theft. The second minor illegal incident happened Tuesday morning around two thirty am.  A 20 year old woman from Hartford, was stopped for erratic driving at River and Kilbourn. The police  Investigation determined that the woman had been drinking.  She was administered and passed the field sobriety tests, however she was was cited for being in violation of an Absolute Sobriety restriction.
