8 / 11 Kewaskum Man Dies in Car Crash

Fond du Lac County Sheriff"s officials say a 41-year-old Kewaskum man was killed when his motorcycle hit a deer on County Highway G south of State Highway 67 in the Town of Osceola late Friday night. The man was the only one on the bike and he died at the scene. The accident was called in shortly after 10:30 p.m. In addition to Sheriff's deputies, DNR Park Rangers, Campbellsport Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation. The man's name is not being release at this time.
In a releated story involving a fatal accident from over the weekend, On Saturday morning at about 1:05 A.M, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on County G near County DE in the Township of Calamus.The Preliminary investigation shows that a SUV was traveling West on County G.  The driver lost control and struck a tree on the North side of the roadway. Speed is believed to be a factor.
The driver, a 40 year old male, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner.His name Names is being withheld pending family notification.  Agencies assisting the Sheriff’s Department were:  Beaver Dam Fire/EMS, Beaver Dam PD, DCERT and Flight for Life. The accident remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department Crash Investigation Team.
