8 / 12 Names Released From Weekend Fatal Accidents

Fond du Lac County authorities have released the name of the 41-year-old Kewaskum man who was killed when his motorcycle hit a deer Friday night in the Town of Osceola. Sheriff’s Captain Rick Olig says James M. Skomski was not wearing a helmet when his bike struck the deer on County Highway G south of Highway 67. He died at the scene. No one was on the motorcycle with him.
Dodge County authorities have also released the name of the victim from the second fatal vehicle crash we reported yesterday.  Forty year old Kyle D. Schultz of rural Beaver Dam suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner Saturday morning when he lost control of his SUV and struck a tree on the North side of the roadway along  County Highway G. Speed is believed to be a factor.
