Officers with the West Bend Police Department are reporting just three minor illegal incidents from the past few days. Lieutenant Michael Hartwell informs WBKV News that Wednesday morning at ten twenty
a 71 year old man from Germantown was visiting his daughter’s home in West Bend when he became involved in a verbal altercation with his daughter. The altercation turned physical when his son-in-law intervened. The man was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and placed in jail. There was also two other incidents somewhat minor in their descriptions from early Thursday morning. At three thirty am, an officer observed three juveniles walking in the 1100 Block of North Main Street. As the officer stopped to talk with them, one of the teens, a 17 year old male from Kewaskum, ran away. The other two teens, ages 14 and 15 both girls and from West Bend were interviewed and found to be in violation of the city curfew ordinance. Both girls were cited for the Curfew Violation and released to their parents. The 17 year old male from Kewaskum was identified, later located and cited for obstructing an Officer. Less than an hour later, just after four am, a 22 year old West Bend woman called the Washington County Sheriff’s Department crying hysterically. Officers were dispatched to the home on the North West side. When they arrived at the residence, a 25 year old man fled on foot. The Investigation determined that the man and woman were equally involved in a verbal argument with yelling and screaming. Both were cited for Disorderly Conduct.
